Felony Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia Seized by Deputies

An investigation by Yancey County Sheriff Deputies culminated in a search of the residence at 100 Forget Me Not Lane in Yancey County on June 5th.   At the residence Deputies seized a felony amount, 274 grams, of schedule VI controlled substance, marijuana.  Also found were several items used in the storage, preparation, packaging, distribution, and use of marijuana.  Some these items were two digital scales, marijuana grinder, storage containers, packaging materials, and glass bongs.

Daniel James Robinson of the residence was arrested and charged with felony maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sale, and distribute schedule VI Controlled Substance, felony possession schedule VI controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession marijuana paraphernalia.  Robinson was released from the Yancey County Detention Center after posting a $7,000.00 bond and is scheduled for a District Court appearance on June 25th 2018.
