McDowell County authorities are searching for a person of interest in a recent spree of mail thefts. Ashley Nicole Allison, age 35, who has lived in both McDowell and Yancey counties, is wanted for questioning. She also has an outstanding charge of driving while license revoked. Allison is described as a white female who is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs about 135 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
