Samuel Peterson, age 82 of Yancey County has been accused of firing a weapon into a home with people inside. Peterson is charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied property. He’s also charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. Peterson is being held on $75,000 bond.
