Yancey County Republican Party Opens Headquarters for 2018 Election

On Saturday, August 11, the Yancey County Republican Party opened their headquarters for the 2018 election cycle. An energized crowd heard  from special guests speakers including Congressman Mark Meadows, NC Supreme Court Justice Barbara Jackson, Candidate Chuck Kitchen for NC Court of Appeals, Katye Griffin, wife of Candidate Judge Jefferson Griffin for NC Court of Appeals, NC Representative Michele Presnell, District Attorney Seth Banks, Sheriff Gary Banks, Yancey County Commissioner candidate Adam Edwards, Yancey County Commissioner candidate David Grindstaff,  Yancey County Commissioner candidate Craig Howell and Yancey County School Board candidate Wade Dahlberg.
