The second annual Yancey County NC Genealogy Research Get Together will be held Saturday July 28th from noon-5:00pm at the Yancey County Public Library.  Everyone interested in family genealogy and research is invited.  Bring your photos and family histories for sharing.  The library has Wi-Fi, so bring your laptop.  A representative from the Yancey County History Association will be there selling books related to genealogy and local history.  Someone will be there to assist with questions and research about your Civil War ancestors.  This will be a covered dish event so bring a dish to share.  Paper products, ice, and drinks will be provided.  For more information call Mike Shelton at 828-659-1379 or email m.shelton33@yahoo.com.
