ANTHONY WHORTEN, age 25, of 32 David Park Drive, Burnsville, N.C. Arrested for failing to pay child support by Deputy C.M. Garland. Being held in jail on a $1287.00 secured bond. He is schedule to appear in court on January 12, 2012.

BILLY COOPER, age 39, of 146 Gurleigh Loop, Marion, N.C. Arrested for failing to pay child support by Deputy R.C. Thomas. Being held in jail on a $5840.98 secured bond. He is schedule to appear in court on December 9, 2011.

WENDY JOE GRINDSTAFF, age 22, of 49 Fox Glove Lane, Burnsville, N.C. Arrested for simple possession of Schedule II (Oxycodone) and possession of drug paraphernalia by Detective J.D. Holmes. Released on a $20,000.00 bond. She is schedule to appear in court on January 24, 2012.

PATRICIA LYNN ZAHN, age 25, of 1149 Henson Creek Road, Newland, N.C. Arrested for simple of marijuana, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer by Deputy C.H. McClintick. Being held in jail on a $2000.00 secured bond. She is schedule to appear in court on January 24, 2012.

TIMOTHY SCOTT CROWDER, 276 Bent Road, Spruce Pine, N.C. Cited for simple possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia by Deputy A.D. Beam.
