The Market on Oak will welcome Perry Deane Young for a book discussion and signing on Tuesday, March 19th at 6 PM at the Market on Oak store in downtown Spruce Pine.  Young has recently announced the publication of a new edition of his widely praised true murder mystery The Untold Story of Frankie Silver, Was She Unjustly Hanged?  a story about Mitchell County native Frankie Silver. Native son Perry Deane Young moves past the fiction to explore the fascinating true story of why Frankie Silver may have been unjustly hanged.
