The American Red Cross faces a critical need for blood donations as summer winds down and the Labor Day holiday approaches.  All blood types are needed to ensure an adequate blood supply is available.  Another opportunity to donate is at the Blue Ridge Hospital Blood Drive Tuesday, September 18th from 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.   Please call Heather Greene at 828-766-1591 for further information or to schedule your appointment.
