Details: Buddy Honeycutt of Rena Street in Marion died on Sunday, May 26th at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Spruce Pine.
Born on January 7, 1950 in McDowell County, he was the son of the late Arville and Carman Shirlen Honeycutt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Buchanan.
Mr. Buddy Honeycutt is survived by his wife; Joyce Honeycutt of Hopewell, VA; his sons; Scott and Josh Honeycutt, his stepsons; Jerry Reuss of Circleville, WV; Christopher Marshburn and James Marshburn both of Hopewell, VA; his sister; Barbara Davis of Rutherfordton; Mary Hudgins of Burnsville; Alice Penland and Elizabeth Wilson both of Old Fort; and his brother; Tommy Honeycutt of Marion; his grandchildren; Andrew Honeycutt, Lindsey and Jessica Marshburn; Ashley and Allison Reuss; Christopher ‘Termite’ Marshburn; Brycelyn Lawson; and Kelsey Honeycutt; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Buddy Honeycutt will be conducted on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Carver officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
