Details: Clarence Dillingham, age 81, of Henson Creek Road in Newland, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his home.
Born on September 21, 1931 in Rutherford County, NC, he was the son of the late Henry Martin and Syble Kanipe Dillingham. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a graduate of Clemson University. Clarence worked as an electrical engineer in the petro-chemical industry for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Vance Memorial United Methodist Church.
Mr. Clarence Dillingham is survived by his wife, Judy B. Dillingham of the home; his son; Stephen B. Dillingham and wife, Rebecca of Brown Summit, NC; his grandsons; Houston, Gabriel, and Ezekiel Dillingham; his brother; Bobby Dillingham and wife, Valma of Chesapeake, VA; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Vance Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Anderson officiating.
