Details: Della Jarrett of Burnsville passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16th at her son’s home with her family by her side.

A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Zackie and Lettie Blevins. As a young lady, she enjoyed making evergreen funeral wreaths with her father, and continued the tradition through her adult years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Jarrett; brothers, Print and Calvin Blevins, and sister, Wilma Mitchell.
Surviving is her son, Larry Jarrett and wife, Margaret, of Burnsville; brothers, Thurman Blevins and wife, Mary, of Robbinsville, Stanley Blevins and wife, Peggy, and Vernon Blevins and wife, Hazel, all of Hickory; grandchildren, Shane Jarrett and wife, Joleea, of Asheville, Larry Lee Jarrett Jr. and wife, Jenna, of Bakersville, Shannon Pate and husband, Scott, of Asheville, Shannon, Rose, and Jackie Ledford, and fourteen wonderful great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville with Rev. Billy Mitchell officiating.
