Details:  Eileen Webb Green of Bakersville passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. A native of  Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Genelle Lingerfelt Webb and was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Phillip Green and her daughter, Pamela Green Hill. She was a former employee of Sears Roebuck in Santa Ana, CA. Eileen enjoyed making porcelain dolls, clothes and accessories. She also was a past member of the Land of Sky Doll Club, Penland Homemakers Club and the Red Hat Club and a member of  Snow Hill Baptist Church.
     Survivors include her husband, Jesse J. Green; brother, Morris Webb of Chesterton, IN; granddaughters: Kimberly Millan of Arizona and Rose Green of California; grandson, Robert “Bud” Phillips Green also of California; and eleven great grandchildren.
     A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the Snow Hill Baptist Church with Dean Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Snow Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
