(This event has been postponed until next Tuesday 3/20 at 6:00pm) On Tuesday, March 13th from 6:00pm-7:00pm at the Mountain Heritage High School Auditorium parents of current 8th graders will be required to attend a Freshman Enrollment Evening to receive much needed information concerning enrollment as freshmen at Mountain Heritage High School.  They will be receiving a packet of materials and forms that must be completed before upcoming freshmen are permitted to register for 9th grade classes.  Registration will be conducted on April 12th at both East Yancey and Cane River during which the high school counselors will be meeting one-on-one with each 8th grader.  Of utmost importance to parents and students is the information that will be presented about requirements for graduation and NC High School Exit Standards.  In order for you to fully understand these state-mandated requirements and standards, it is essential that you attend this meeting.
