The Mitchell County Extension Center is having a hands-on Apple Tree Grafting Workshop Tuesday, March 6th at 6:00pm at the Extension Center in Bakersville.  Cost for the workshop is $10.  Participants will receive 2 root stocks to graft that can be taken home and planted.  People may also bring their own scion wood if there are trees they are trying to preserve.  Registration is limited to 10 participants.  For more information call Mitchell County Extension Director Jeff Vance at 828-385-0432.
