Helping Hands of Yancey County To Hold Clothing Sale



Helping Hands of Yancey County will hold a Clothing Sale on August 18 and 19, 9am - 3pm.  The sale will be held at the old Taylor Togs Building, 621 Micaville Loop, Burnsville. For sale will be adult clothing and shoes, children's clothing and shoes, and accessories, such as scarves, belts, purses, hats, and jewelry.  This is a clothing and accessories sale only.

Also, mark your calendar for the big Fun Flea Sale at the Taylor Togs building on September 15, 16, 17.  The entire warehouse will be filled with furniture, household and kitchen items, toys, outdoor equipment, linens, craft items, books, holiday decor, electronics and so much more.  Be sure to like the Helping Hands of Yancey County Facebook page to stay updated on Fun Flea Sale information.

Helping Hands of Yancey County is an all-volunteer organization that operates the annual Fun Flea Sale in order to raise funds that provide support for worthy projects in the community.  More than 50 volunteers help to make the Fun Flea possible each year.  Since Helping Hands of Yancey County was formed in 2014, the organization has contributed $43,500 to eleven local charities.

Donations of household items are accepted at the old Taylor Togs warehouse site on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9am to 4pm.  To schedule pick up of large items, contact Pat at 828-208-2797.
