Marketti Tipton, age 57, of Burnsville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 at her home. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of Glenda Miller Hall and the late Dewey Hall. Marketti was a member of Bolens Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Glenda, is her loving husband of 39 years, Ronnie Tipton; daughter, Kirsten Tipton; son, Mark Tipton and fiancée, Jessica Carpenter; sisters: Regina Bradford and husband, Jeff and Mechelle Hudgins and husband, Lynn and special friend, Connie McMahan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 3rd in Bolens Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Dr. Chris Morgan and Niles Howell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
