Details: Mary Edna ‘Bunny’ Brennan Fisher, age 87, of Laurel Creek Road in Spruce Pine, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Brian Center Health and Rehab in Spruce Pine.
     Born on October 20, 1925 in Dover, N.H., she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Miller Brennan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph LeeRoy Chandler. She was also preceded in death by her son; Thomas L. Chandler; her daughter; Judith Ann Hefner; and her brothers; Penny, Thomas, and Billy Brennan and her sister; Shirley Miller.
     Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Saint Lucien Catholic Church of Spruce Pine
     Mrs. Bunny Fisher is survived by her husband; Adam Fisher of Spruce Pine; her daughters; Cathy Marlowe of Spruce Pine and Patti Palczewski and husband, Stan of Murfreesboro, TN; her brother; Bruce Brennan; her sisters; Mary Machaud, Barbara Ricker, Dorothy Chandler, and Katie Harwood; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
     Graveside services and interment will be in the Western North Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, N.C. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
