McDowell Police Investigate Car Wash Break-In

McDowell detectives are looking for a suspect who broke into a car wash and stole $4,000 worth of items. Investigators say this person, caught on surveillance video, broke into Zip Wash Car Wash, at 2111 U.S. 70 West in Marion at approximately 6 a.m. Friday, January 9th. According to authorities, the suspect entered a locked car wash bay that had been turned into a storage room and stole about $4,000 worth of items, including two shop vacs, a toolbox and tools, a pressure washer, a propane heater and two drills. He also entered a truck that was parked in the bay and took a mirror and a diamond necklace.
