Details: Paul “Ray” Anglin of Anchorage, Alaska passed away at Alaska Regional Hospital on February 6th. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Lena Styles Anglin. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pat Anglin. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sargent after serving in Korea and three years in Vietnam. Ray resided in Anchorage following his retirement.
Surviving are his daughter, Teresa Sullivan and husband, Robert, of Anchor Point, AK; son, Jackie Anglin of Anchorage, AK; brothers: Kenneth Anglin and wife, Gail, of Etowah, NC, Ralph Anglin and wife, Raylene and Bill Anglin and wife, Sylvia, all of Burnsville; sisters: Annette Simpson and Juanita Lewis and husband, Carroll, all of Horseshoe, NC and six grandchildren.
