Send Cards of Encouragement to Eddie Ballard

Many of our listeners are familiar with the name Eddie Ballard.  For several years he worked as our "Mars Hill weather correspondent" on WKYK and phoned in weather information for WLOS TV news as well.  What you may or may not know is his backstory.   When Eddie was in his thirties he learned that his mother had been put in the hospital and jumped in his car to drive there.  Along the way he was involved in a bad accident that crippled him from the waist down and he's been confined to a wheelchair ever since.  The accident may have taken his legs...but it couldn't cripple his spirit.  Eddie has been such an inspiration to countless people through the years...and loves the Lord and his gospel music.  Recently he has undergone several operations with more to come and is now staying at Stone Creek Health and Rehab.  It would really lift his spirits and encourage him to hear from you. To send a card or letter of encouragement send it to:
