Details: Ronnie Wilder Yelton of Stagger Weed Road, the Cane Creek Community, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.
Born on June 24, 1946 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Pierce and Velcie Willis Yelton. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Richard Yelton and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Ronnie Yelton is survived by his sons; Joe Yelton and wife, Tammy of Newland and Gene Yelton and wife, Mary Ann of Spruce Pine; his brother; Roger Yelton of Bakersville; and four grandchildren.
