Mitchell Seniors of the Month

On Thursday, March 20, the Rotary Club of Spruce Pine honored four Mitchell High School students who have been named Seniors of the Month. Introduced by School Counselor, Grant Sparks, they are: Daniel Bomar and Kellyn McKinney for February, and Davis McKinney and Kelyn Slotnick for March. (more)

Academic Excellence and Honor Rolls

Harris Middle School Academic Excellence for the 2nd Nine Weeks grading period and Mitchell High School Honor Rolls for the first semester. In order to qualify for the HMS Principal's List, students must have an A in every class.  To qualify for the A Honor Roll, they must have an average between 93-100 in all classes.  B Honor Roll students must maintain an 85-92 average (more)
