Deputies in Madison County are searching for two escaped inmates. Authorities say Jonathan Motte and Joseph Norton climbed a fence at the Madison County jail around eight last night and fled on foot. Warrants were issued for both on charges of "escape from a county confinement facility." Motte was originally arrested last march for several charges, including larceny of a motor vehicle and breaking and entering. Norton was arrested last month on charges including breaking and entering, larceny, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
