Toe Cane Beekeepers Association will welcome two speakers to its July 24 meeting at 6 p.m. at the United Community Bank in Burnsville.

Peter Brezny will discuss his experience working under a treatment-free beekeeper in France.  Kim Rumfelt, executive director of Mitchell/Yancey County Farm Services Agency for the USDA, will speak about “Emergency Livestock Assistance for Replacement of Bees.”

All meetings are free and open to the public.
