McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are currently on the hunt for this woman, who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Friday morning. At approximately 9:30 a.m., the suspect entered West Court Food Center, on U.S. 221 South, brandished a handgun and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber is described as a white female who stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall and has a thin build. She was wearing dark clothing and had a dark bandana partially covering her face. She left the area by an unknown mode of travel.
