Genealogists, historians, students, teachers and anyone interested in local history in Avery, Mitchell and Yancey Counties will now be able to access bibliographic information about the holdings in the Lloyd Bailey Annex in Burnsville through the AMY Regional Library online public access catalog. This will include both those searching online and at the libraries. The Bailey collection contains many resources not owned by the libraries. When searching the online catalog, when your see the term "History Museum" given as the location, that means the item is at the Bailey Museum Annex at 3 Academy Street in Burnsville. The Annex is part of the Rush Wray Museum of Yancey County History and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm.
