Students from Arthur Morgan School and St. Thomas Episcopal Church's newly formed Youth Group led by Michelle Rehfield paid a visit to the shelter on February 4th. They received a behind the scenes tour of the shelter and enjoyed playing with the cats & dogs. More importantly, the children, who range in age from 8 to 14 are learning the importance of supporting and giving back to the community through volunteerism. Yancey Humane Society Executive Dir.
