Details: Mrs. Greene was born on July 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Arnold and Julia Snyder Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Blackburn Runion and Doris Blackburn both of Spruce Pine and a daughter, Karla Lynn Warren of Spruce Pine.
     She is survived by a daughter, Mitzi Yvonne Layell and husband Jerry of Burnsville; grandchildren, Justin Layell of Burnsville, Savannah McKinney and Lucas McKinney of Spruce Pine; brother-in-law Charles Runion; great-grandson, Tristan Burleson and many friends.
     A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 2:00 -3:30 pm in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home.
