Details: He was a native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late John Wesley and Berga Angel Bailey.  Paul was a WWII Army Veteran having served in the European Theatre and was a prisoner of war for 7 months.  He was a retired farmer.
     Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Clillon Higgins Bailey.
     Military graverites will be conducted at 12 Noon Thursday, February 16, 2012 in the Western North Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery in Black Mountain.
