From Babies to Senior Citizens, the United Way of Mitchell County, Inc. meets the needs of Mitchell County residents. March 28th Edwina Bringle, Board President, traveled to The Senior Center at  Ledger to  present  checks to Kathy Garland, Director of Mitchell County Senior Citizens Center, to help with meals delivered to home bound older adults, and to Melba Hughes from Mitchell County Health Department (BabyLove Program). Thirteen other agencies also received funding through United Way of Mitchell County, Inc. to serve Mitchell County residents.  “All the money raised here stays Here”.
