Mayland Community College, in conjunction with the Employment Security Commission, Mayland Manufacturers Association, and Economic Development Commissions of Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties, will host a job fair on the Mitchell Campus in the Sam Center Auditorium on June 20 from 10 am-4pm. This free event is open to the public and will feature employers from Avery,
Mitchell, Yancey, and McDowell counties. Human Resource Development classes in resume writing and interview skills preparation will be offered on June 18 at Mayland’s Mitchell Campus and on June 19 at the Avery and Yancey Campuses. For more information call 828-766-1297.
