Mountain Heritage senior Penny Lane Baker has accepted a preferred walk-on position with the Applachian State Softball Team. Penny played 2nd base and outfield for the Cougar team where she earned All-Western Highlands Conference honors for the 3rd straight season this year. She batted .569 and had 29 stolen bases.
