“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” may be the name of a play by Shakespeare, but it also sets the mood and is the theme for dinner and dancing next Friday ( June 15) at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Burnsville.  A gourmet meal with “sinful” desserts will be set off by the smooth jazz of the Bob Early Band, which will play through dinner and until 8:30. The $30-per-person cost of the dinner dance is used to help folks in the Yancey Community, particularly through The Reconciliation House fuel fund, which has been recipient of thousands of dollars in aid because of this annual event.  Tickets for the 6 p.m. dinner dance are available at the Grapevine clothing store at 11 West Main St.in Burnsville and at The Design Gallery on South Main just across from Town Center.  St. Thomas is on Reservoir Rd., up the hill behind Burnsville’s CVS and Burger King.
