Mayland Community College, in conjunction with the Employment Security Commission, Mayland Manufacturers Association, and Economic Development Commissions of Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties, is hosting a job fair on the Mitchell Campus in the Sam Center Auditorium today from 10 am-4 pm.  At least 15 different area employers are represented at the free event which is open to the public and will feature employers from Avery, Mitchell, Yancey, Buncombe and McDowell counties, including Altec, BRP, Gouge and Son Oil Company  Verizon Wireless and more.
