Details:  Born on January 11, 1916 in Avery County, he was the son of the late Bard and Tempie Carpenter Ingram. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae Ingram, who passed away on October 11, 2011. He was also preceded in death by two sons; Reggie Ingram and Paul Ingram; and seven brothers; Arnold, Ralph, Jace, Ray, Harston, Herbert, and Bart Ingram.
     He was a member of the Whites Memorial Baptist Church.
     The funeral service for Mr. Jerry Ingram will be conducted on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Big Meadows Baptist Church with the Rev’s. Tommy Thomas and John McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Meadows Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home.
     Left to cherish his memories are his daughter; Betty Weathers and husband, Doug of Newland; his sons; George Ingram and wife, Margie of Newland and Paul Ingram, Jr. and wife, Hazel of Newland; grandchildren; Tammy Morgan, Tommy Ingram, Wanda Pendley, Harold Ingram, Brenda Weathers, Delila Ingram, and Deanna Ingram; seven great grandchildren and special nephew and wife, Jack and Lois Ingram.
