Make your plans now to attend a Community Fun Day at the new Cane River Park scheduled for this Saturday from 10 a.m. till noon. The activities planned for the day include free inflatables and games for the kids to enjoy, guided trail walks on the park’s trail system, river activities and education, soccer pick up games and other skilled camps. Healthy snacks will be available as the community comes together to enjoy Yancey County’s newest community park located off Hwy 19 W on Whittington Road in Burnsville.
