Rev. Clifton McCurry of Burnsville has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has no health insurance.  Churches and friends in the community have organized a fund-raiser Benefit event and auction to be held on Saturday October 20th at 4pm at Burnsville Elementary School.  All proceeds will go to help pay for his medical expenses.  The event will include a barbecue, hamburger and hot dog dinner, a silent and live auction, cake walks, face painting, buggy and pony rides, inflatables for the children, and family fun.  A Yerf Dog 4X2 utiltity vehicle is among the items that have already been donated.
