Briggs Stadium.

Jake McClellan had a game-high 69 yards on three grabs while Lucas King had three receptions totaling 64 yards. Drew Hoilman, Zac Robinson and Brandon Buchanan all caught two balls each to help keep the Black Hawk defense off balance.

Lucas King led the charge, carrying the rock 11 times for 111 yards, followed by Tyler Byrd (11 carries for 53 yards), Drew Hoilman (7-22), Colby Presnell (7-13) and Austin Meadows (1-4).
More important was that Heritage's defense redeemed itself two weeks after allowing the Rosman QB to run ruffshod over the Cougar D. The Cougars got the football first and promptly drove down field 61 yards to put points on the scoreboard and set the tone for the high scoring affair. Robinson got the touch on an eight yard sprint up the middle of the field and the offensive flood gates were opened.
The second drive of the game for Heritage was short after the North punter shanked a kick and left the Cougars with great field position inside the Hawk Red Zone at the 19. On the next play Drew Holiman hauled in an 18 yard pass from Robinson and Eddie Magana then drilled the second of nine successful PAT’s on the night and Heritage looked to be in total control.
The Cougars constructed a 21 point lead as a result of a 35 yard pass reception by Jake McClellan from Robinson before the Hawks finally drew blood on a 57 yard TD bomb midway through the second quarter.
Heritage extended its lead to 35-7 at the half on a 14 yard TD run and another scoring catch by Lucas King.
