The Appalachian Therapeutic Riding Center Pig Pickin' will be held Saturday October 13th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the ATRC Barn on Lower Browns Creek. The event will include pony rides for small children from 4-5 pm., a great bar-b-que dinner and special entertainment throughout the evening. Parking is limited at the barn so a shuttle will be provided from Brown's Creek Baptist Church. ATRC provides therapeutic horseback riding for persons with disabilities. Funds raised from the event will help to complete a new addition which will greatly enhance services provided by ATRC. Tickets can be purchased at Bank's Jewelers, Grassy Creek Clothing (or checks mailed to ATRC, 176 Chimney Ridge, Burnsville, NC before 10-10 and tickets will be held at the door.)
