Details: She was a daughter of the late John Moss and Rose Ella Berry Wheeler, and the wife of Luther Byrd who died in 1985.  Veo was also preceded in death by a sister:  Mozelle Webb; and brothers:  Boyd and Lloyd Wheeler.  She was a member of Millers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
     Surviving are 2 sons:  Roger Byrd and wife, Sheila, of Burnsville, and Ronnie Byrd of Connelly Springs; 6 grandchildren:  Timothy Byrd, Sherea Krause, Kristin Byrd, Kimberly Pruett, Lora Byrd and Sarah Byrd; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren; a sister:  Aleene Silvers and husband, Reece; and 2 brothers:  Edgar Wheeler and Floyd Wheeler and wife, Letha, all of Burnsville.
     Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday in Higgins Free Will Baptist Church.  Revs. Clifton McCurry and Trent Honeycutt will officiate.  Burial will be in the Byrd Cemetery at Piney Hill.
     The family will receive friends from 5 until 8PM Sunday at Higgins Free Will Baptist Church.
