New Exhibit of Work by Penland's Core Fellows at The Penland Gallery
The work of Penland’s core fellows will be featured at the Penland Gallery in an exhibition that runs
from October 2 through November 18, with a reception on Friday, October 5 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
Core fellows are full-time students who live and work at Penland School of Crafts for two years. The
show will include work in in ceramics, metals, textiles, wood, letterpress, printmaking, paper, glass, iron, book arts, and other media. Nine artists are participating in the show. In addition to this exhibition, the Penland Gallery sells work in all craft media made by the students, instructors, and resident artists of Penland School of Crafts. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sundays, 12 to 5 PM; closed Mondays.
