The Toe River Health District’s Board of Health Members from Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties are asking citizens for their opinions on Tobacco Free Park and Recreation areas. The input will help develop recommendations regarding a voluntary policy to allow recreation parks to be free from all tobacco products. You can offer your opinions by accessing the Health Department websites in each of the three counties or by sending an email to general@trhd.dst.nc.us or calling the Toe River Health District Office at 828-765-2239, extension 14.
