Details: Born on May 11, 1947 in Dover County, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Chandler and Edna Chandler Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Hefner who passed away in 2009.
     She is survived her Mother; Edna Chandler Fisher and husband, Adam of Spruce Pine; her sisters; Cathy Marlowe of Spruce Pine and Patti Palczewski and husband, Stan of Murfreesboro, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
     A gathering of remembrance will be in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Matt Mills officiating.
     In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to: Mitchell County Animal Rescue, 2492 East U.S. Hwy. 19-E, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
