“This year the JV Cougar Football team has done an outstanding job. They have persevered through some rough games with Hendersonville, Owen, and one half of Mitchell but with everything that they have gone through together has made them back to back conference champs. This wasn't a one on one battle, but rather a team fighting with one goal in mind.”
“When we started this year we had two goals. The first was to go undefeated, but with the loss to Erwin in our first game made that impossible. Our second was to win conference, with was completed with the win against Madison. “
“The players EARNED this Championship, They sweated and bled for it. It wasn't easy, it fact was very difficult but each and every player came together and gave it all that they had.”
