Details: A native of Yancey County, he was a son of Richard and Elizabeth Black Robinson. Eddie enjoyed being outdoors and was a craftsman. He will always be remembered by his family as a fun loving person who was always joking around.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughters: Sarah Sakai and husband, Sam of Chicago, IL and Holly McPeters of Orlando, FL; a brother, James McPeters of Burnsville; aunts: Juanita Bodford and husband, Donald, Phyllis Crosby and husband, Gary; an uncle, Ralph Black and wife, Joan, all of Burnsville; granddaughter, Minta McPeters; grandson, Kazi Sakai; a niece, Ashley McPeters and nephews: Nicholas and Trent McPeters.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 5th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. The Rev. Mack White will officate.
