Details: Born on November 6, 1941 in Springfield, MO, she was the daughter of Fred Irvin and Anna Marie Barclay Wilcox. She was a member of the Altapass Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the church choir and was a Sunday School Teacher.
Connie worked at the Spruce Pine Community Hospital for twenty-six years and was a member of the Gideon’s Auxiliary of Mitchell County. She was a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.S. Degree in Microbiology. Later, she graduated from Jacksonville State University with a B.S. Degree in Medical Technology. She loved flowers.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband; Dale Blevins of the home in Spruce Pine; her daughters; Lisa Henline and husband, Gregg of Spruce Pine and Anita Lindsay and husband, Kevin of Raleigh, NC; her son; Eric Blevins and wife, Suzanne of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren; Amber Henline of Columbia, SC; Christopher Henline of Spruce Pine; Jacob Blevins of Spartanburg, SC; and Victoria Faith Lindsay of Raleigh, NC; her parents; Fred and Anna Marie Wilcox of Seneca, OK; and her brothers; William Guy Wilcox of Titusville, FL and James Robert Wilcox of Quapaw, OK.

The funeral services for Connie Blevins will be conducted on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Altapass Baptist Church with the Rev’s. Marcus Benfield and Steve Sisk officiating. Interment will follow in the Altapass Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the following organizations in honor of Connie’s life: Altapass Baptist Church, American Cancer Society, or Gideon’s.
