Sensory Processing Disorder: Helpful Strategies for Home and the Classroom



Parent to Parent Family Support Network of the High Country and Mitchell-Yancey Partnership for
Children are sponsoring a free and informative workshop on “Sensory Processing Disorder: Helpful Strategies for Home and the Classroom.”  This workshop will greatly benefit anyone who lives or works with children who overreact or underreact to sensory input. It is open to parents, caregivers and professionals. The workshop will be held Monday, November 19, 2012, from 6:15-8:15pm at First Presbyterian Church in Spruce Pine.  The presenter is Pam Loven. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Occupational Therapy. During her 30 years of experience, pediatrics has been the heart of her practice. Space is limited.
