We got to the track on Friday for practice and qualifying. About 11 o'clock we went out for practice and the car was running well, 3rd quick in the first session. We made some minor adjustments before the second round of practice at 2:30. When we went out for round two of practice again the car ran well but it was a little loose going into the turns, but we were still 3rd quick. We made some more adjustments before qualifying hoping to help the car out a little bit. We went out to qualify and had some problems, the oil plug came out of the oil pan and caused a major oil down. I did manage to complete one lap before the oil down and I got the engine shut down before it lost oil pressure, so no damage was done. Our lap was only good for the 14th qualifying spot, not what we were shooting for but it wasn't too bad for only getting one lap. Saturday morning came and we filled the engine with oil and got it started to make sure all was well and ready for the race and as expected, it was. The race started a little after 3pm and we were running well, picking up spots as the laps wound down. there was a wreck with about 20 laps to go and it took about 8 or 9 laps of caution to get it cleaned up, As we were set to go back to racing I was running 9th and coming to get the green flag the ignition coil goes out and the car looses fire, I drop to the apron of the track and get pushed to the pit area where I can only watch as the last 10 laps go by and just wonder what mite have been. All in all it was a good weekend, the car did exceptionally well considering we were under powered, and it is in one piece and no scratches, its ready to go rite back if there was a race tomorrow. As of now our Racing season is over and we are preparing for next season where we are anticipating more wins. I want to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors: WTOE, Greg's Speedliner Spray-in-Bedliners, Carolina Sign Source, Woody Tire, B&J Auto Parts, Carolina Collision and Spruce Pine Tire. Im hoping I will be home around Thanksgiving so I can have the car in the Christmas Parade in Burnsville, Spruce Pine and Bakersville,
