Arrangements: Webb Funeral HomeDetails: Born on June 19, 1947 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ruth Willis McNeill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Pitman.
Johnny was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church and worked forty years for Henredon Furniture of Spruce Pine. He was a loving Husband for forty-five years, Father, and Grandfather. He loved his family and friends and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Brenda Cox McNeill of the home; his daughter; Rita Nutter and husband, Michael of Spruce Pine; his grandchildren; Brianna and Case Nutter of Spruce Pine; his brothers; Robert McNeil of Trenton, SC and Gary Riddle of Spruce Pine; special nieces and nephew.The funeral services for Johnny McNeill will be conducted on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 3:30 pm at the Bear Creek Baptist Church with the Rev’s. Chris Rathbone and Holt Whitson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at Bear Creek Baptist Church.
