A Lenoir man suspected in a rash of vehicle thefts in Mitchell County was apprehended last week In Nashville Tenn. 22-year-old Justin Drew Coffey was taken into custody by US Marshalls who tracked him to Nashville using cell phone records. He was taken to Caldwell County where he is also wanted on a long list of charges including motor vehicle theft, breaking and entering and larceny. Coffey faces court dates in Watauga and Burke Counties as well. He has been charged with two counts of felony larceny of a motor vehicle in Mitchell County.
